General Information and Contacts

General Information

People get to Key West by flying into Key West airport or driving.  Many fly into Ft. Lauderdale or Miami and then drive down.  Some also come by private boat, cruise ships or the ferry from Ft. Myers Beach.

To get specific information about obtaining a Florida Marriage License, go to the Clerk of the Court website.  If you are driving on a weekday through the Keys, here is the best advice you will get  anywhere.  Stop before you get to Key West at either of the two other Monroe County Clerk of the Court locations...one on Plantation Key and the other in Marathon.  They are both visible from US 1.  You won't feel like you have to be in Key West by a certain time and you can get in and out of those locations very easily.

Website photos were all taken by me except the one of Dee and Lynn. That photo was taken by Roger and Eddie. If you want great photos or video of your event, check them out at their website at http://weddingsofkeywest.com You can spend little money on your ceremony but the money you save is well spent on great photos.

Sorry....they're all gone after two printings but you can get used ones on eBay or Amazon.   If you can get it before your trip, I promise it will be helpful...even though some parts are now outdated.  The core information doesn't change.
